Feel Good Music 3rd Entry
Trends in music are crazy. As soon as some artist find success or discover something that is unique, over kill is usually guaranteed. Instead of being creative or wanting to set themselves apart, some artists would rather be safe and copy what was a successful sound or style from a peer.
Seems as if the majority of artist from previous decades took pride in being original. Having a unique sound was celebrated. For example, Roger Troutman and his talk box created some classic tunes. Along with Roger the group Zapp created gems, songs that carried flare and never sound the same as the next. Each having its own character, beat and flow.
Roger almost single handling destroyed my family (Lol) but that's another story... The music created by the band is infectious, its soulfulness gets down to the bones and seems to never get old.
Way before T-Pain and that damn T-Pain Microphone that kids where clamoring for at Christmas, there was Zapp and Roger. The sound was ahead of its time and unique, not overbearing like the auto tune gimmick that was all over the place a few years back.
Here's another tune that I consider Feel Good Music.
